The Central Commissioning Facility (CCF) have vacancies for lay reviewers for CCF programmes. Reviewers are sought for every area, not just surgery and they are reimbursed for producing the reviews. The value of doing an RfPB review includes an insider's view of the research process, taking the first steps into the research area as a PPI co-applicant, a greater appreciation of what the programmes are about, etc.
